The value of exports of commodity group 50 "Silk" from Vietnam to India totalled $ 110 million in 2022. Sales of commodity group 50 from Vietnam to India increased by 42% compared to 2021: exports of commodity group 50 "Silk" went up by $ 33 million (exports of commodity group 50 from Vietnam to India were equal to $77 million in 2021)
Exports of "Silk" from Vietnam to India accounted for 1.39% of the total merchandise exports in 2022 (total sales of goods from Vietnam to India were equal to $ 7.96 billion in 2022). The share of commodity group 50 grew up by 0.149 p.p. in overall exports from Vietnam to India compared to 2021 (it was 1.24% in 2021 and cumulative exports from Vietnam to India were equal to $ 6.25 billion).
The share of India in total exports of commodity group 50 "Silk" from Vietnam was 77 percent (110 million USD) in 2022 of 143 million USD - the value of overall merchandise exports of commodity group 50 from Vietnam in 2022. The share of India in exports of commodity group 50 "Silk" from Vietnam grew up by 7.82 p.p. in value terms compared to 2021 (it was 69 percent in 2021, and overall exports of commodity group 50 "Silk" from Vietnam amounted to 111 million USD).
