Argentina's foreign trade statistics are presented in the form of an online database based on NCM (Mercosur Common Nomenclature) 8-digit coding system, used in Argentina's customs system. Detailed trade data (Comex Stat Database) includes code of imported or exported goods, country of destination or country of origin, netweight, and value (exports - FOB, imports - CIF). Argentina's foreign trade statistics database contains annual and monthly data of goods movements. Foreign trade statistics of Argentina are prepared mainly on the basis of customs records. To complete the coverage, surveys of binational electricity production companies and maritime and air transport companies are used as the only source of complementary information. Argentina's import and export forecasts are calculated by TrendEconomy experts using mathematical algorithms with seasonal adjustments.
